Edge Nodes Management

As a Group Admin, you can request to connect your own private edge node to the marketplace and define whether only selected or all users of the group are able to use it.

Pre-requisite: Make sure you have already provisioned and configured your edge node infrastructure. If this has not yet been done, refer to: Acentrik Helm Charts.

To add a private edge node for your group:

  1. Log in to the marketplace.
  2. Click on ‘Manage Edge Nodes’ in the ‘Group’ section of the left panel of the screen.
  3. Click ‘Add Edge Node’.
  4. Fill in the necessary details of the edge node.
  5. Select whether access to use the edge nodes within the group should be limited to ‘All Users’ or ‘Custom Users’ as required. If ‘Custom Users’, search and choose users from the list.
  6. Click on the ‘Create & Submit’ button at the bottom left corner of the page.

Initially, you'll observe a pending status - this is the period during which the edge node awaits approval by the Instance Administrator. Following the Instance Administrator's approval, the edge node will be activated and available for use.
